I certainly give honor to God who keeps me grounded and centered, thank you to our Mayor Vivian McKenzie for swearing us in. I give honor to my Pastor James Perry and honor to the previous executive board members, President Valerie Eaton, VP Ramona Massenberg and VP Kecia Palmer-Cousin. I am truly honored and humble to be part of one of the longest civil rights organization.

In my leadership role as the President of NAACP-Peekskill with the executive committee I will ensure/achieve equity, political rights and social inclusion by advancing policies and practices that expand human civil rights, eliminate discrimination and accelerate well-being education, and economic security of black people and all persons of color.
Equal rights opportunity for all mankind especially.

The vision of the NAACP is to ensure a society in which all individuals have equal rights without discrimination based on race.

If you are not already a member of this great organization, I invite you to become a member and I encourage current members to renew your membership. More importantly, once you've done that, I encourage you to join one of our committees such as the educational committee to ensure the education of our people, the health committee as there are health issues that are so severe right now, or the civic engagement committee, criminal Justice, economic Development committee or the environmental justice committee.

If there's anyone who's interested in becoming a PR person so we can remain Visible Vauable Viable please reach out to me.

I leave with an Angela Davis quote.

"YOU HAVE TO ACT AS IF IT WERE POSSIBLE TO RADICALLY TRANSFORM THE WORLD. AND YOU HAVE TO DO IT ALL THE TIME"
